Services for roadside truck assistance are available 24/7. Whether you’re near, far, on a bustling city street, or on a quiet country road, help will be there when and where you need it. Availability for these services will vary by state.
What is roadside assistance and towing?
Northland’s roadside assistance and towing coverage provides reimbursement for expenses resulting from many commonly occurring causes of breakdown. Services covered include:
- Towing from location of disablement to the nearest facility capable of making repairs
- Jump starting a dead battery
- Changing a flat tire
- Key lock-out service
- Delivery of fuel, oil, water, or other vehicle fluids
- Winching or towing due to entrapment in snow, mud, water, or sand within 100 feet of a road or highway
Reimbursement will be provided for truck roadside assistance labor performed at the location of disablement, or towing from the location of disablement to the nearest repair facility, due to the following reasons:
- Mechanical or electrical breakdown
- Battery failure
- Flat tire
- Lock out
- Insufficient supply of fuel, oil, water, or other fluid
- Entrapment in snow, mud, water, or sand within 100 feet of a road or highway
Coverage does not apply if the disablement is due to an accident.
Limits and deductibles include the following per disablement (2 maximum per vehicle):
- $500 for roadside assistance
- $2,500 for towing
- $250 deductible
